I was happy with what I ate here and the service was decent as we didn't come in at a busy time-6pm on a Wednesday-and we sat at the bar.

I had the 2 piece fried chicken that comes with peanut coleslaw; we were given a bonus piece of chicken as two of the pieces were smaller. That was great! I thought the chicken was well fried, just crispy enough. You have the choice of adding hot sauce or getting spicy chicken but I skipped on that. It was $7 for the 2 piece chicken and slaw, very reasonable.

We also ordered the freshly made cheeses which come out crackling with a spice on them (not too spicy). It's a nice snack if you just wanna munch on something, but I probably wouldn't get those again.

I wish they had the small fried chicken pieces (aka karaage) they have at the Davie Street location (which is closing/getting a makeover).

Strange Fellows Brewing had taken over the taps; I'm a fan of their beer, so I was happy to have their IPA for $6. They have drink options of all sorts there.

My fiancé was craving some fried chicken recently so we ordered from Juke after hearing some decent reviews.

I got the 3 pieces of Chicken Strips with Honey Mustard (~$9) sauce and he got the Chicken Waffles with Beer Spiced Honey sauce (~$15).

While the pricing was pretty average, the taste was subpar. My chicken strips were definitely over cooked, tasteless, and so dry so I ended up only eating 2 of 3 strips and even though I drowned them in sauce, the taste couldn't be saved. The Honey Mustard sauce was extremely runny so I'm going to guess there was oil added to it as well. Sauce also tasted mainly of just mustard. I tried my fiancé's chicken waffles which were a bit too sweet but I'm not sure if it was due to the Beer Spiced Honey sauce that he also drizzled on top.

Overall we both felt that it wasn't the best meal and unfortunately I don't think we'll be eating from here again.

    This is a delivery review.
We ordered 5 piece of fried chicken and 1 reg fries. Total was $33.71 (inc tax, free delivery and 20% tip)

The food arrived warm (doordash delivery). The chicken was good...juicy on the inside and crunchie on the outside. The seasoning seemed like it was just salt....no spices, so it was a bit bland. It was more crunchy than I like but my partner really liked the thick batter. The chicken got a 4 star

We were both disappointed with the fries (1 star). I understand that fries are never as good an hour later but we have ordered fries from other places and they were still pretty good. These fries were oddly hard. I mean rock hard...you couldn't even eat most of them. Kind of like potato chips but as thick as a fry. Looking at them, you could see how much oil was in them. They were clear looking. There was no soft potato in the middle at all. Keep in mind, they were still warm so I'm not sure how different they would be right out of the fryer.

There are no fried chicken places where I live and very few deliver to my location. I would still go to Juke (not delivery) if my friends want to but otherwise, I would order something else.

Our choice for the best fried chicken with fries is called Re-up in new Westminister (River market). They don't deliver so we pick up when we are in New Westminister. The chicken is Natural grade (better than regular but not as good as organic). The fries are great even when they get warm vs hot. But mostly it's because the batter is crispy but not super thick and the batter is seasoned with more than just salt. It doesn't taste overly greasy so you don't feel gross after you eat it.

    Overall I was pretty disapointed.

I went to the location in Chinatown. Right away it attracted me with their chill and hip interior and decor. They have seating inside and a little patio seating outside.

    My order:
    - 2 piece regular fried chicken ($7.00)
    - 2 piece spicy fried chicken ($7.50)
    - Jalapeño cornbread with whipped schmaltz ($5.00)
    - Fried chicken sandwich ($7.00)

My entire order came out in LESS than 5 minutes..

I am ALL about fast service but less than 5 minutes felt odd to me.

I personally felt that the prices did not reflect the quality/quantity of the chicken. It is $7.00 for 2 pieces of regular fried chicken and $7.50 for 2 pieces of spicy fried chicken. All 4 pieces of chicken were on the smaller side. There was way more chicken skin coating in ratio to the actual meat itself. Also half of the chicken was cold :((

The best part about the fried chicken was definitely their tasty skin coating and how crispy it was.

The sandwich was slightly better but a bit dry and slightly cold.

My favourite part about the meal was by far the jalapeño cornbread! It came with two little pieces and whipped schmaltz. It was crumbly and had a good taste of the jalapeños. However like the chicken, it was on the colder side.

When I got inside to pay for our bill, I could see that they pre fry all their chicken and leave it out to serve until customers order it. Then my cold and dry chicken made sense :(

When eating outside, I witnessed way more people getting take out than sitting inside. I realized that they have more selection for take out with combos and boxes. Their prices for fried chicken are also better because it doesn't come with the slaw.

I am unsure if I would try this place again and if I do, I would try out their Davie location.

I was in Vancouver visiting a friend and she kept telling me this is the best fried chicken in Vancouver, so I had to check it out. she might have said it's the best she's had, but I don't recall the specifics. Obviously had to check it out, so we went for brunch. I only got a breakfast chicken sandwich, but it was very big, very well seasoned, super crispy in the outside and juicy in the inside... And the biscuit was also very good. A little hard to eat because it's so big though - I had fun watching the table next to us stare at theirs from different angles before attempting to eat it (mainly because I'd just gone through the same thing). Quick tip - don't cut it in half; just grab it and take a bite.... Slicing it just makes such a mess haha.

    Great service too. A+
